We can’t say THANK YOU enough to everyone who registered, fund-raised and participated in our 20th Anniversary Walk of Life Reimagined! While there were a number of setbacks like a global pandemic and a rain-out on Saturday, Sunday was a beautiful day full of excitement and hope.
Since the theme of the event was that it was “reimagined”, things went a little differently—from the fabulous tie-die t-shirts, to having several routes to choose from, to having the True Divine Baptist Church singers encourage walkers from several TV screens. And even though it may not have been a “normal” Walk of Life, the goal was, and is, still the same—to raise breast cancer awareness and funds so we can continue to provide life-saving breast health services to those who need it throughout Alabama.
You all took the words “Live Here, Give Here” to heart and showed your support in so many ways and we will always be grateful!
