Tickled Pink Expo

Did you get a chance to come by the Tickled Pink Expo in September ?  We hope you did — it was a full day of all things pink, educational, fun and even tasty.  For the past several years, the Alabama News Network has organized the Tickled Pink event in Montgomery at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex.  The event has brought together hundreds of Central Alabama women to celebrate women’s health!

As you can imagine, during Tickled Pink the Multiplex becomes filled with people and pink everywhere you look.  As soon as you arrive at the front door, you are greeted by a huge inflated pink Joy to Life arch. Our set up team knows that pink arch too well — you see it each year at our Walk of Life event. Then step inside and the team at Alabama News Network is there to send happy greetings, sell entry tickets and provide a nice bag for attendees to use as they check out the many vendors inside.

Now when you come, make sure you have the time to spend walking around to visit all the vendors.  The array of products and services you will see seems endless –from back massages to bakery items to clothing and of course, everything in-between.  It never gets over-crowded, however, it does ebb and flow traffic-wise based on the time of day.

When you need a break, you can sit and enjoy interesting speakers and talented singers on stage throughout the day.  Step over to the Alabama News Network booth and meet some of the familiar faces you see on TV. Then swing by our big pink tent and say hello! You can check out some of the Joy to Life merch too! It’s an event that brings out so many familiar faces for us that we get to hug and catch up with. It also brings new faces to us that share their stories with us and help us remember what our work is all about.

It’s an event we enjoy being a part of and appreciate so much the opportunity and the financial benefit that comes to our organization through the ticket sales each year.

If you haven’t had a chance to come to a Tickled Pink event, click here to visit Alabama News Network to get more info. Bring a friend and make sure to stop by our pink tent and say hello!  We’d love to meet you!

And if you are interested in participating as a vendor, contact Austin Saunders or Steffanie Patterson at 334-271-8888.
