EVENT VOLUNTEERS
There are events throughout the year and we need volunteers to assist with various tasks. Our annual event each October is our largest event that takes place in downtown Montgomery, Alabama -- The Walk of Life. Whether your talents lie in organizing pre-race activities, registration, or cheering along the course, WE NEED YOU! COMMUNITY OUTREACH VOLUNTEERS
If you have been personally touched by breast cancer and want to give back to the community, we invite you to join us in the fight. We are always on the lookout for opportunities to provide breast cancer awareness education and/or create fund raising opportunities to pay for mammograms and screenings throughout Alabama.

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS
We need volunteers to assist in the Montgomery, AL office year-round. Duties include database maintenance, updating contact lists, making calls, helping with bulk mailers and providing Walk of Life support including yard sign and poster delivery, preparing materials, and supply inventory. Volunteers may commit to one or more shifts per week consistently on an on-going basis or can be on stand-by for when assistance is needed for specific office-based projects.

COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS & LEADERS
Are you interested in serving on one of our committees? We have several Walk of Life committees for different levels of involvement and skill sets (fundraising, planning, logistics to name a few).

SURVIVOR+THRIVER VOLUNTEERS
Are you passionate about sharing your journey with breast cancer? We would love for you to join our staff at events including check presentations, breast cancer awareness fundraisers and health fairs. SURVIVOR+THRIVER volunteers represent hope for all of us and you could be the encouragement needed to be seen and heard by others in the cancer community.  We also invite you to consider sharing your story with us for our JOY Magazine, Blog & Podcasts.

VOLUNTEER GROUPS
If your community organization, school, club or business is interested in volunteering as a group, please contact us.  We need groups and our Volunteer Coordinator will work with your group to find a volunteer opportunity that is the best fit.
